Room with a Sea View
In 2022 I was invited to join an artist collective with the Metal Collection to form , ‘1.5 Degrees’ we were interested in exploring the climate crisis and living under the current state of the environment. we produced an exhibition show called ‘Sweat the Small Stuff: A creative response to a warming world’.
My work, ‘Room with a Sea View’, addresses eco-anxiety. Throughout the process I found myself unable to, as a design, confidently contain my thoughts in a piece of work, the only information I felt authority over was my emotion. Using this, and a dry sense of humour, these posters are intended to poke fun at large corporations' role in the climate crisis and their refusal to take full action and responsibility.
