The Anti-Design Library
A collaborative project between 4 designers, The Design Library was a micro-exhibition, exploring topics in design through book and publication design. The chosen theme ‘anti-design’ and the question prompt ‘What is a book?’ produced 4 pieces of work.
The promotional material, intended to guide prospective guests to the location and date of the exhibition, but not to give away any of the work presented inside it, to preserve the guests first impression of the work.
‘Leaf’ produced by myself, represented nature and specifically autumn, but removed some core aspects of book making, such as paper, text and photo. Replacing them with craft, and keeping the visual languages of pages, and handcrafted bookbinding.
