The night before Halloween, 1938, ‘Mercury Theatre on the Air’ produces a live radio drama rendition H.G.Well’s novel ‘the war of the world’. Reportedly, due to its immersive nature, the broadcast curated fear and horror in the listeners.  

Through the medium of projection and live performance, ‘War of the Worlds (2023)’ is a visualisation of the broadcast. The visuals reference and samples of vintage film, title sequences and presentation slides.
